Please take a moment to read the dress code guidance below. The setting is the bushveld — beautiful and natural — and we'd love for the overall aesthetic to feel cohesive and in harmony with the surroundings. Separate guidance for male and female guests is provided below, with visual references.

The Palette

Our wedding colours are rooted in the earth — greens, warm browns, deep burgundy, and golden tones. You're very welcome to complement this palette, though you're certainly not required to match it. Wear what makes you feel beautiful.

We love to see

  • Midi or maxi dresses in florals, prints, or solids
  • Elegant linen or cotton trousers with a blouse
  • Earthy tones — sage, terracotta, rust, blush, cream, burgundy
  • Wedges, block heels, or elegant flats (lawn ceremony — heels may sink)
  • A light wrap or jacket for the cooler evening
  • Natural fabrics: linen, cotton, silk, lightweight wool

Please avoid

  • White, ivory, or cream (reserved for the bride)
  • Stiletto heels — the ceremony is on lawn
  • Very casual: shorts, beachwear, or sportswear
For him

Male Guests

We love to see

  • A suit in linen, cotton, or lightweight wool — earthy or muted tones
  • Smart chinos and a blazer (tie optional — a neat open collar is perfect)
  • Earth tones: warm beige, stone, olive, slate, cream, deep brown
  • Loafers, brogues, or clean leather shoes
  • Pastels are very welcome — you'll look great against the bush

Please avoid

  • Shorts or jeans
  • Sports shoes or trainers
  • Very casual T-shirts or vests

Friday evening

Pizza Evening

Friday evening is intentionally relaxed and informal. Smart casual is perfect — don't feel the need to save your best outfit for this night. Think: a nice dress or clean chinos and an open-collar shirt. Comfortable, casual, and happy.
