- Elegant linen or cotton trousers with a blouse

- A light wrap or jacket for the cooler evening
- Natural fabrics: linen, cotton, silk, lightweight wool

- White, ivory, or cream (reserved for the bride)
- Stiletto heels — the ceremony is on lawn
- Very casual: shorts, beachwear, or sportswear
